Ha Ha Chinese Restaurant is the latest creation from Chung Chan and Shiu Mei Chan.  Chung Chan and Shiu Mei Chan were born in Hong Kong and Canton China.  The recipes that they use in the creation of the food at Ha Ha restaurant were passed down from generation to generation with a few creations by Mrs. Chan alone.

Mr. and Mrs. Chan have been in the restaurant business all their adult live (40+ years of experience) and have owned 3 different restaurants in the Desert.  The first was the Pak Inn Chinese restaurant in Indio, California followed by the Pak-Inn 2 Restaurant on Highway 111 in Indio.  After they sold the Pak-Inn restaurants they opened up Shangri-La Restaurant in La Quinta.

Ha Ha Chinese Restaurant focuses on no-frills, great food at a very reasonable price.  We only use the finest ingredients that we can procure from vendors from Chinatown to the local meat packer and vegetable producers in the area.
